Joint Statement of Gree & Daikin Global Strategic Cooperation

Nowadays, the earth environment is a global and crucial issue. To protect the earth environment is the obligation each excellent enterprise shall undertake. Gree and Daikin have common concepts and wish to make contributions to the earth environment, and we have made unremitting efforts for this.

Gree and Daikin, as the super enterprises for the development of global air conditioning industry, have made positive contributions to the technologies on energy saving and environmental protection. Both sides have realised that to enhance the energy saving and environmental protection must be the development direction and enterprises’ target.

Through active and faithful negotiation, we decided to integrate both parties’ advanced inverter technologies and strong managing capability in the field of refrigeration so as to make contributions to the earth environment.
We believe our cooperation will not only realize the mutual complementarities of advantages, mutual benefit and all-win, but also provide more comfortable and better environment-protecting products for consumers. At the same time, the cooperation will promote the new progress of refrigeration technology and accelerate the health development of the industry.

Based on the above-mentioned targets, both parties have agreed to establish two joint venture companies in Zhuhai, for joint production of compressors, electrical components and molds, and we planed to provide the global consumers with more energy-saving, environment-protecting and advanced new type inverter air conditioners by merging the capitals and technologies.
